Chairman Kang Myong Chul of North Korea's Korean Christian Federation speaking at the International Ecumenical Conference on a Peace Treaty for the Korean Peninsula convened by the World Council of Churches in Hong Kong. 58 participants from 12 countries are in attendance.
WCRC delegation with the leadership of the (North) Korean Christian Federation including Chairman Kang Myong Chul, Vice-Chairman Ri Jong Ro and Pastor Song of the Bong-Su Church. WCRC was led by President Jerry Pillay and Gen Sec Chris Ferguson. Other members included Carola Moderator of the Waldensian Church in Uruguay and Argentina, Collin Cowan, Gen Sec of the Council for World Mission and WCRC staff, Dora Arce-Valentin and Paul Oppenheim. I was invited as Advisor to the delegation.
