This is a very rough budget. When we make the official visit application I
can confirm the actual prices of accommodation and minibus. I’ve written the budget in AUD because we are
all familiar with it, but I strongly recommend using Chinese Yuan (RMB) for
everything, and I can convert the budget to RMB later. You can withdraw RMB from the ATM machine in
Beijing using any Visa debit or credit card. Due to sanctions, I do not
recommend using USD at any time even though is it a common currency in DPRK.
Flights - economy class Beijing - Pyongyang
return are around AUD $700, whereas the train tickets are around $300. Please let me know if you would prefer
flying.
